I like the color choice, it's pretty toned down and doesn't look muddy, just cozy.
I should read the other routes to see how her plotline goes..

Santa's elves got into the defense industry.. It's cute tho.

It looks even cooler in the full size image, with the mix of the effects along side the non-aliased linework. Wish I had a higher res monitor..

Also the traditional pen and marker style on top goes together really well with the design.

I love the water. Also so cheery, I love it.
Sadly the pig doesn't know it's marching to its death.. Also first I've seen of the ghost girl. Always thought Miya needed a side character to bounce off of.

Oh yeah thats "Cuite Da Ghosty!" (or ghosty for short) one of Miya's bestest pals..i need to draw her more LOL

also, they will eat the ham strapped to Miya's back, because if they try to eat the rocket pig again, it will go off like a nuke (literally) but riding it, is also a fun way to travel!

The composition is great with the scythe-moon combination. Also his design is plain cute with the cloak-hoodie combination too.

He'd take your soul but be pretty respectful about it :v I love it.

I always get a kick when people remember old SEGA stuff.
You nailed the "weird but charming" proportions the character has, not sure too many can casually pull it off.

I like how you even got the strange timing in the original down.
