It's stuck in all our heads.
Despite going realistic and taking artistic liberties, he looks on model. Looks pretty good.
...
I still don't understand his cinnamon bun hair.

x0mbi3s responds:

thankyou! his hair IS a little ridiculous

Nice. I should play some of the newer Fire Emblem eventually, last I played was the one on GC.
Charming as always.
One on the left for some reason works better. Maybe it's cause "fancy sword" just naturally works well with the character.

Ioruko responds:

Thank you! It was my first Fire Emblem game, so it was nice to have an easy "nobody dies" mode.
I chose this composition to fit the sword handle, so maybe that's why it looks imbalanced without it.

I like to think the last one actually took out a swarm of aliens/ robos. Take your pick.
I appreciate you doing more sketchy stuff, since your stuff usually seems pretty polished. So getting stuff in between is neat too.

I noticed she's a classic space girl, from the outfit down to the gun design.
THE EXPEDITION OF THE GREAT BEYOND
or something charmingly cheesy like that :v

I like it.

This image feels like a personification of all the random crap we installed on our graphing calculators.
It's cute, and it's neat to see you still making neat sprite art. It's using a Gameboy color pallet, but reminds me a lot of the GBA's art. I'm not complaining, it looks cool.

Ioruko responds:

Thanks!

You got pretty close to the Kishimoto art style. Looks really good.

*zooms in*
Wait, there's no aliasing? No wonder it looks so sharp!

Color scheme immediately reminded me of Nights into Dreams.
Looks really cool, except for some reason the eyes feel like they clash. Would probably look cooler with a thicker outline around the eyes while keeping the same color, but that's just me nit picking.
It looks cool and sharp as always.

I don't like Digimon monster designs, but I think you've managed to pull it off in your style to the point where it actually meshes well with me, so that's neat.

"Lil"
In resolution, maybe. That weapon looks like it just took down a building.

I really like the animation. *Weapon pops open, one nozzle pops out, splits into 2 more, extends, charges up in 3 stages, THEN fires" The whole thing is anticipation, I love it.

Looks so sharp, and ridiculously high res.
Just looking at the image makes me feel like I'm about to see it in motion. I like to think the wings are speakers, go full Jet Set Radio with it.
It's great.

DeDeur responds:

They 100% are definitely speakers lol. Thanks :)

Sick. Love the cheery "high energy future action" thing in some of your pieces.
Also, how everything bends to exaggerate the motion is a neat plus.

So high res, I had to open it in another tab to view it in full.
The character design is nice. It seems you went for a more "cool" look than the original's art style, which I think is also neat.

3DCG and cel-shading nerd. I like fast video games.
